Lindsey Krautwald is a lifelong resident of West Deptford. She graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School in 2008, Neumann University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education, and Neumann University in 2016 with a Master’s degree in Education with an Autism Endorsement. Currently, Lindsey just finished her 11th year in Bellmawr School District as a 5th grade Special Education Teacher at Bell Oaks Middle School. In addition to teaching, Lindsey has been the head Track and Field coach at Bell Oaks since 2016.
Lindsey and her husband, Josh, welcomed their first child Kenzie in November 2022. Although Kenzie is not currently in the West Deptford school system, she knows that is where Kenzie will attend school and wants the best education possible for her. In Lindsey’s spare time she enjoys being active. You may have seen her running around town, walking her dog Miles in the neighborhood, or even taken a Spin class at Riverwinds Community Center with her. Lindsey loves setting goals and working towards achieving them. She has completed over 10 marathons and understands the grit and perseverance one needs to stay dedicated to one’s goals.
As a Special Education teacher Lindsey understands the importance of advocating for her students. She knows every child deserves someone in their corner. “Fairness doesn’t mean everyone gets the same, fairness means everyone gets what they need.” Lindsey hopes to bring a new perspective on ideas and is excited for the opportunity to represent the community.
